During the new coronavirus pandemic, buying groceries brings additional risks, and many people wonder whether they should sanitize produce and food packaging once they return home from the grocery store. The decision to sanitize food packaging depends on personal preference, but according to the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)... "After touching an object with a virus, such as food packaging, etc., then touching your mouth, nose or possibly eyes , There is a chance of contracting the new coronavirus. Although this is not the main way the virus spreads. Generally, the risk of transmission from food or packaging is very low due to the poor viability of the virus on the surface of the object."
But we still have to eat and buy necessities, so how do we ensure safety?
1. One way to protect yourself is to wash your hands before and after handling food. Wash your hands with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds. Then use a PET bottle with disinfectant water ,to match our trigger sprayer ,Spray disinfection all over your body or your family and friends.
2. 2. Using bleach, 70-degree alcohol, soap or other chemical cleaning agents will be harmful to the body. Vegetable lotion and vinegar solution cannot kill the coronavirus, so use running tap water directly. For bulk agricultural products such as lettuce, apples and broccoli, rinse them with running water.
3. If the situation permits, leave the groceries outdoors or in the garage for three days. This will exceed the 72-hour virus survival time recommended by NIH.
